Deal or no deal??

It is really unfortunate that a chance has to make use of a platform such as this in the hope of getting a response from a supposed service provider.

On 14th Feb I did an online application for a laptop contract through Telkom. A few minutes later and agent called to finalize the contract. I was told that my account would be debited with an amount of R329 and this was done on 19th Feb. I was told that the order will be dispatched as soon as the order clears. It is now 3 days later and one would think the payment has cleared but sadly, Telkom has been mum. It is impossible speaking to someone. When you have no contract number or email confirmation that the contract has been concluded.

Where does this leave me? I am R329 poorer, I have no written contract and no one at Telkom wants to or can assist.

In addition, these ****s have my banking details and well most of my personal details to do as they please and yet I have received nothing but frustration from them.

What now?
