DATA *******

Telkom is de*****ing its client's with regards to DATA. Due to CellC no longer offering LTE my package was changed from a CellC 50Gig to Telkom 40GB + 40 GIG. In all my time with CellC I only ran out of DATA in DEC. Yet with Telkom I have used up all 40 Gigs in 15 Days, worst still is that according to their SMSes in from the 2nd to the 14th I used 18678MB. In this time I averaged 4h hours gaming a day and 2 episodes streaming per day, more on the weekend. Then Between 15H00 on the 14th and 15H00 on the 15th they claim I used 12285MB. In this period I spent 6H gaming and watched 4 episodes. By 22H00 my last 8166MB was depleted. 3h gaming and 2.5 episodes. How come between the 2nd and the 14th I could use 18678MB watching 34 episodes and 48H gaming, then between the 14th and 15 with just 6.5 episodes and 9H gaming I used 20451MB. So for spending 1/5 of the amount of time online Telkom billed me more. Where is the logic in this. Even more scary is that Afrihost is unable to show you your data usage from Telkom or send warning mails because "TELKOM IS NOT ABLE TO SUPPLY THIS INFORMATION" So how does Telkom calculate my usage if they are not tracking it?

From the figures above it is clear that they thumb suck your usage.

FYI: My streaming coats between 300 and 350MB/H My gaming 100 to 125MB/H
