damages caused to my property by your utility

i purchased a house in 2014 and when i moved in, the telephone cabling was attached to the property.in winter of 2014, the cabling caused my fascia boards as well as my roof to be damaged.Several calls (i lost track of the reference numbers) and visits by 1 inspector in June 2015(he was supposed to return on 15 June, no1 pitched). My roof is damaged and Telkom is responsible as the property was in perfect condition when occupation occurred.I have requested for the cabling to be removed and was asked by the technicians if my neighbours had landlines.how is that my problem?i not only want the cabling to be removed but my roof to be fixed as my insurance is refusing to fix the damages which is not caused by natural elements...if no one responds, i will be cutting the cabling myself as i do not own a landline and is in no need of cabling at my house.i am not a client and after this debacle, will not even consider it.this has been an ongoing issue since 2014
