Damage to property

<p>Telkom contractors were digging right between my neighbour and my property line on Lancia Street, Lynnwood Ridge, Pretoria to pull a fibre line through. On 17 September 2016 my neighbour noticed one of the exposed water pipes leaking water into the Telkom contractor made hole. Now because this leak was during the weekend, my neighbour contacted a plumber to repair the pipe and stop the leak. He obviously had to pay the plumber once the repair was done. However upon investigation, my neighbour discovered that the pipe that was leaking was in fact my water line and hence passed the invoice over to me.</p> <p> </p> <p>How can I go about being reimbursed for this repair work done for the damage which was caused by this Telkom project?</p> <p> </p> <p>PS: I have emailed ********** directly twice already without any response. Now I am publicly slamming Telkom to see if I can get a response from you.</p>
