Customer Service is Pathetic

about a week back i drove from work in Durban to my home town in Stanger to the telkom store. I waited about 15 minutes to see the consultant then i moved to the front of the queue where my query was being attended to. In the middle of the process another customer walked in to anothe counter, the consultant then promptly woke up and left my counter to go to the other counter and proceeded to help him. Now i also work in service delivery and I dont think it is right or professional to leave 1 customer half helped to go and help another customer.
