Let me tell you about the wonderful experience I had at Telkom. <div dir="auto"> </div> <div dir="auto">Displeasing to say the least.</div> <div dir="auto"> </div> <div dir="auto">A sim replacement is all I needed. Simple. But to my surprise, the Westgate branch did not have in Stock. I was astounded. A cell phone shop not having Sim cards? What was the point they were even operating today! I was then told I should go buy a sim at another store, which I did, in order to get this done. When I came back to the store, I then had to wait to be helped while I watched 3 people out of a total of 4 staff help 1 man. With close to 13 other people in store waiting for service, there was absolutely no sense of urgency or any interest for that matter. After waiting for quite some time to be helped, I was told I need to buy another sim because in order to have my number replaced, the new sim card cannot be rica'd. First off, why was I not told before I bought the first card, secondly, no shop sells cards without registering, and last of all, what cell shop runs out of sim cards?! They were unable to tell me when they would restock on sim cards again. Weekends are the busiest of times and most convenient for people to run errands and take care of business and this is what problems we're faced with. I met a women who, like me, needed a sim for Telkom and went around trying to find a card. Pathetic. What an unpleasant shop, service and staff!</div> <div dir="auto"> </div> <div dir="auto">False advertising, demo phones? Is this a shop you're running or what?</div> <div dir="auto"> </div> <div dir="auto">You are losing customers.</div> </div>
