Credit vetting failure

I recently app**** for a contract with Telkom...application process compelted and the lady said i qualified...only to get a sms saying i failed credit vetting!! My credit score is good!!! Another thing they advertising old phone models and when an enquiry is placed they tell you sorry we know longer have it.....highly annoyed and upset with Telkom.
