Credit listing for no particular reason

I just so recently entered into a contract with Telkom.

The contract was sold by an independent company on behalf of telkom. I hesitated in entering a contract with telkom as i have been listed by them by the credit bureau after sending my product back within the first seven days.

So the contract inception period had a start date of 24 January 2019. On 18 February 2019 i received an sms stating that my mobile service is overdue and will result in an interruption of my service, credit bureau listing and collection by attorneys.

Telkom = same thing, different day.

I then made contact with the call centre and after a lengthy discussion it was confirmed that my previous bank account number was utilized. This was strange as i provided the service provider with my latest banking details. The call centre agent then confirmed that the "system" is not allowing her to enter my new bank details.

Since then i have been receiving threatening sms's stating that i will soon be handed over to attorneys.

I expect a call and an explanation!!!! In 2016 i was listed for a full year and will take action if this happens again.

To date this issue has not been resolved, now i am told that i must pay a R202.00 rejection fee as there were no funds in my account. Well of course they wouldn't be as the account is no longer active. The account details i provided over the telephone is my current account number. Telkom = ******, they do with their clients as they want.
