Credit Bureau Listing

On the Thursday 30 March 2017, I proceeded in person to the Telkom Office located at the Pavilion Shopping Center Durban to cancel my Internet access. I was assisted by a young man with the name of Malcolm, not sure if it was his name or surname, he completed the documentation for the cancellation. I did receive a telephone call from a lady from Telkom confirming if I cancelled my Internet access. During March 2019 I app**** for credit for a new vehicle and great was my surprise to find that I was listed for an outstanding debt of R 4499.31. I attempted unsuccessfully to resolve the issue vie the walk in center as well as the web site. I was informed that I had been handed over to a company 'Van de Venter & Mojapelo', they had no contact details and I should 'Google' them which I did, what I found was rather less than savoury (as per this site) Now I am willing to resolve this matter but Telkom refused to engage.
