Costing our business money on non delivery
In March 15 we app**** for change of ADSL & telephone lines to our NEW premises. We got SMS from Telkom that they were going to send technician 23 March TO THE WRONG ADDRESS! We corrected that then got a message that they could only change over on 7 April which never happened..
On asking why we got the total runaround from pillar to post with no results...On 9th April suddenly a tech turns up from Rustenburg saying that he will connect the lines & said that there were 2 lines working & the others were problem at exchange. We now get a email/sms saying that they can do the job on 11 April[a Saturday] then this was cancelled & we were advised that the ADSL would be operational on 14 April...
The switchboard installer came & connected the board 13 April & advised that there were only 4LINES which could be connected even tho the request was for the main line 5605[hunting] to be 2nd priority after ADSL which is still not connected.
Whoopee we now have 2 lines which we can dial out on & not get incoming calls on so I guess we are making some progress.
As our business is losing many orders due to the ADSL line not working we are desperate to get this sorted out ASAP.
