Cordless phone.

Telkom sent me a cordless phone which I refused on several occasions. However, I was forced to take a cordless phone and since than I've been having endless problems with my line. Most of the time there is no signal. I live 100m away from the old cable phone lines and would like them to restore it for me. I'm a pensioner and whenever the power goes down, I have absolutely no communication with the outside world especially in an emergency. I want them to restore me cable line now.
