Contrect cancelled

I have lost my job and cancelled both my phone and wi-fi accounts on the 29 Jan 2023 at the Vaal Mall in Vanderbijlpark. Telkom only stopped the phone contract without and did not give me a reference number. Telkom ask me now for a reference number, to cancel my wi-fi account. If they cancelled my phone contract without a reference number, why should i have a reference number, for the wi-fi account?
