Contract Not cancelled

<p>I have had a cellphone contract with telkom, which I have paid to the very end and also requested that it be cancelled, years passed I have a telkom account sitting on my ITC and emails from debt collectors demanding payment for a telkom account. this is a surprise to me, when enquiring I was told there was a balance, and this is my explanation concerning it:</p> <p> </p> <p>Concerning Balance:</p> <p>For 2015-05 the Device charge was R358 and for 2015-06 the charge was R49, they started charging the R49 after contract has ended, where by if you did not cancel your contract you will be billed for the benefits, and if you check the record, I never used the benefits after May 2015. at this time my contract Balance was sitting at R407 (June 2015 ), this balance was paid 2015-08 whereby I paid the last R358 + R49 for June 2015 of which by that time I had no idea the R49 was for after contract billings, this is shown on the invoice for 2016-08.pdf. From there forth, I never used any benefits from the service provider see invoice 2015-09.pdf and 2015-10.pdf.</p> <p>The amount that is shown on the invoice of June 2016 amounting to R539 was accumulate from the R49 from July 2015 up to June 2016 (11 * R49).</p> <p><br />Concerning Contract Cancellation:</p> <p>I have tried to be in contact with telkom to look at the matter and nobody seems to be getting to the bottom of this.<br />Please note that my initial query was that I cancelled my contract before it end, I went to a branch at Riverside mall in Nelspruit unfortunately I do not remember exact date, I also sent an email of the form to the cancellation email for telkom this was in July 2015, I am attaching the form I filled in and the Auto response email I got after sending the form (see doc: CancelForm.pdf and AutoResponse.pdf), from the look of things this was never attended to and has led to what is happening today, I have been a loyal customer and making the payments but I do not deserve to be treated in this manner by telkom.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
