Contract Migration confusion

I have an 36 month LTE contract with Telkom Mobile, I wanted to migrate to a higher contract. The call center informed me that I can migrate but that can be done at the branch, at Northgate branch I was informed that I cannot migrate as I have a 36 month contract and all the contracts that can give me what I want are 24 months. I found this to be unreasonable and called the call center again and they insisted the period has nothing to do with the matter as I am entitled to migrate. <br> <br> I am even willing to take just the data portion I need without the device and pay full amount for 24 months even if my remaining term is less than that but the guy at the branch insist I can not do that. I fail to find the business logic . Now I am being send from pillar to post between the call center and shops, the call center agent informed me that I should try another shop, I think that's ridiculous, Telkom should put their house in order not expect a customer to shop around various branches for a competent person.<br> <br> Now considering cancelling the contract and I am told I have to pay the remaining installments for data I haven't received yet...this obviously in violation of the CPA...
