Contract Limit means nothing to them
<p>What is the point of having a limit on your contract when they disregard this? My Fiance misplaced his cellphone and someone else found it. (Yes, I did not phone to cancel the sim card as when we tried calling it everyday it was off) I get a debit amount of over R 5000.00. When I queried this, I was first told I apparently increased this via the self service thing and that proof would be sent to me. Why would I increase the limit knowing I could not afford it. Now all of a sudden they cannot send me proof as to how the 'apparent' increase happended. They didnt bother to block it once it reached the limit. No I get told I am liable for their incompetence. Not happening Telkom. People put a limit on there contracts to avoid being charged more than what they can afford. </p>
So after back and fourth communications between myself and Telkom, I now have three case number. I keep getting told ''we are investigating''. Telkom has now suspended my account due to their incompetenace. My debit order date is the 25th of every month, what does Telkom do......lThey debit my account for R 2000.00 on the 23rd.......Well I have returned this debit and will continue to return these debits.
I advised Telkom to cancel my debit order as I will pay via EFT for the amount as per my contracts. I was told they cannot cancel my debit order as per the contract,and that I must make payment before the 25th to aviod being debitted.....Mmmm....bit difficult to do when Telkom Mobile just takes money off when they feel like it.funny how Telkom Mobile will stick to that but yet they allow transactions on my contract even through I have a limit.

Still no response from Telkom Mobile. They keep trying to take the money which I keep returning.
