Contract cancelation

I had my mother get me a telkom contract while I was still in school since they need a pay slip and ID. Fast forward to this last month i wanted to get a contract under my name and close the one my mother opened for me since it was supposed to be renewed but those money loving busters, every time I call they keep telling me they will put me through to someone who can help me but when that person answers then he/she tells me to end the call and pick a different option when calling back and they will help me .
