Contract and Insurance claim nightmare!!!!

Never ever take a contract out with Telkom if you value your sanity. I put in a claim with Telkom at their Sandton city store a day after I was retrenched from my workplace, i was told that i would have the remainder of my contract paid out within 5-7 working days- this was back in May 2020. Till today i have not had any feedback or contact of any kind from their insurance department. i have made more then 10 calls and over 5 store visits to try get this sorted and each time i am told "the team leader/manager will call you back- you cannot be transferred as they are not office bound and working from home" However this morning I get a call from a debt collector to advise me that my account has been handed over?!! What kind of ******* is that ? where you cannot get feedback on your insurance claim yet you can get a call back from a debt collector that said insurer sent? I WANT FEEDBACKON MY CLAIM!!!!!
