Continuous billing for cancelled adsl line

On 27 August I cancelled my adsl line and purchased a new LTE product for Telkom. The clerk that helped me at Telkom Walmer Park, Tersius, assured me that because my adsl line is no longer part of a contract that it will be cancelled immediately and that my last payment for the adsl would be the debit order scheduled for 31 Aug 2018.

On 12 September 2018 I received a bill for the adsl line via email.... I thought maybe it is just a mistake, because according to what Walmer Park Telkom told me the adsl line is cancelled as of 31 Aug.

End of September Telkom then debit my back account for the adsl line, and my LTE product. I went instore again only to find out that the cancellation form for the adsl line was not submitted. Walmer Park Telkom assured me that they would back date the cancellation to 27 Aug and my telkom account would be credited. I then reversed the adsl debit order on my bank account, as I was wrongly debited.

On 11 October 2018 i received yet another bill via email to inform me that I am arrears with payment on my adsl line (which I cancelled 27 Aug) and that I have been penalized for reversing the debit order for September. Once again I went to Telkom Walmer Park and Tersius submitted a request to rectify the problem.

Now on 1 November 2018 Telkom debited my bank account for my LTE ( which is correct), they debited my account for outstanding bill on the cancelled adsl RR450 and an additional debit order of R211.20 with REF: ********** 08 has been taken. What is the 3rd debit order for!!!!!!!

Telkom is blatantly robbing me and no one that I have spoken to at Telkom can manage to rectify the problem.

Telkom has the worst customer service. I was warned not to use Telkom because of the bad service, but I gave Telkom the benefit of the doubt and now Im paying for it.
