Continious poor 'non - existent' service from Telkom.

We are still waiting for telkom to do something about the line that was pulled down by a falling tree in Kingston road, Escombe, Queensburgh KZN. The fault has been reported numerous times, and all Telkom does is issue 'fault reference numbers'. A fault reference number does not restore the service of at least 10 Telkom clients. To date they haven't even come out to assess the fault. It is ridiculous that a company who has the monopoly of landline services in South Africa treat their clients in this manner. They have gotten so bad that they don't even respond to hello peter complaints; a year ago they still, at least, responded.

I have reference numbers coming out of my ears relating to this issue. Another reference number is not going to solve my problem. I want to be released from this 24month contract of which Telkom is in breach of. There must be no further cost to me relating to this contract. I need a letter from Telkom stating thatvthey cannot honour this contract and that they therefore release me from the contract at no further cost. I need this urgently as this non-service is costing us money on a daily basis.
