In September 2018 a Huawei MiFi Router was sold to me as a special for an amount of R139.00 a month payment, however an amount of R179.00 was continuously deducted from my account. I queried the mishap with the billing department and spoke to Voyokazi who double checked the special and confirmed it was R139.00, Telkom will have to credit my account with R280.00 from September 2018 till March 2019. Again on the 31st March 2019 an amount of R179.00 was deducted.
Today, I called Telkom and spoke to Wilmington who told me my case was closed with the following response: Client signed a contract of R179.00 as per contract, told the agent the devise was sold to me telephonically no contract was signed. He told me that's the response he get's from his system from their back office.
I feel aggrieved by what Telkom is doing to me as a client, they sell/advertise products for a certain amount and deduct an amount that was not agreed upon. That constitutes consumer *****, Telkom is not doing justice to it's customers. I have proof of the September 2018 Special advert, that states R139.00 not R179.00 as per deduction made monthly from my bank account.
