Consultant end the chat before solving the problem
I have been trying to get a issue solved for the past 3 week with Telkom. My 70 year old granny recently had to apply for a Fixed Wireless telephone after the lines were ****** in her area. When I took her the first time we requested that she keeps the same number as she had the number for more than 30 years. However, when she collected the phone from the shop on her own, then the shop assistant gave her a different number.
So I called the same day (Thursday, 26 June) to request that the number be changed.I was then informed that they have to cancel the old ticket(line being ******) and then within 2-3 days they will be able to reassign then number to the new phone.
A week later after no feedback and the line not being changed I called the sales department and spoke to a lady named Tracy, who informed me that line was changed that day and should be working fine. I then said I will check the line and call back, but as expected she was just trying to get me off the line to go home as the line still had the new number.
Since then I have been trying to get someone to change the number, but as expected no one is of help!
