Connectivity

I have been struggling with the network connection since Friday the router doesn’t connect to the internet I called the lady who was assisting me said I must put the SIM card on my phone and see if it will connect, I did it worked but then I can’t use the router SIM on my phone forever. I called again yesterday I wasn’t assisted.
