Congestion on local DSLAM (021713)

For over 2 years, we have been battling with our service provider with a constant lack of speed. They have recommended that we take this up with Telkom who own the last mile. On a daily basis, we are getting a next hop response in excess of 1500 ms, and frequently over 3000. This is in Meadowridge, Western Cape - in the middle of the Southern Suburbs. Taking this up with Telkom is a fun and exciting exercise if one has absolutely nothing to do. Unfortunately, I have a business to run, so cannot spend the hours and weeks and months required to get some activity on this. The Exchange: 021 713...
