completely useless customer service

Let me make this simple.

I've been a Telkom customer for 15 years. Paid on time. Never a problem. Now I try to get a contract, and your brain-dead system tells me I have a Netherlands passport.

I don't.

I have a South African ID. The same one I've been using with Telkom for a decade and a half.

So explain to me: how does a system ***** up that badly? And why should I suffer because your database is full of garbage?
