Communications Breakdown just on the weekend
Dear Hello Peter

The landline & ADSL / internet connections are gone again in the Greater St Francis (Kouga Municipal area) in the Eastern Cape.

Often when the landlines break down, the cellphone connections go down as well, which is what happened today. Eventually since 12:00 we now have cellphone connections at 16:45.

We did log the fault with Telkom, who would not log it as an area breakdown, but would only log it against our one number *** and not *** as well. Ref no 222CEZ 20-02-2015. The person at the call centre would not give an area manager's name for the Eastern Cape either.

These faults result in fuel purchases and or any kind of purchase where bank cards are being used. One cannot draw cash from an ATM either.

Story is spread that lines were ******. Last time I reported this to you, Telkom's social media communications team responded immediately to enquire about the fault.

So we are relying heavily on your support to make this country work again. Please have these lines unscrambled as we've just had the jammed signals in parliament unscrambled.
