CHARGES R4975 FOR " DEVICE OBLIGATION/CARRY OVER" ON A CONTRACT UPGRADE
My mobile device was due for an upgrade, so 2 weeks ago I went in and got an upgrade done. I was in utter shock as I logged in to my profile today to find that my amount due was an astonishing R6439.14!!!!!
My normal monthly debit is around R1000. The additional charge is for " device obligation/carry over. Upon doing the upgrade @ Telkom (Phoenix Plaza-Durban), at no point was I made aware that I was going to be charged an absorbent amount like this. This is utter nonsense. I have been with telkom for a very long time and have had multiple contracts and upgrades done- never have I experienced this before! Please contact me as this is a matter of urgency.

12 May 2021, 00:01Its unbelievable..... I reported this case almost 3 years ago..... And still have not been contacted..... Its jus goes to show how as long as u are in a contract with a service..... U have no choice but to deal with inconsiderate service providers who seem to only care about their pockets
