charged for a sim that was given to someone else

<p>last year a call centre agent called and offered me an upgrade on my internet contract. hewas from a company that sells telkom products. he quoted me a price and when the device arrived, it was R100pm more. the company then accepted their fault and sent a courier to pick up the device . i returned the device and sim. the next month, i get a bill of over R1000 for calls. I then call the number and a guy answers and says that he purchased the sim from a pakistani guy in durban CBD. he thought that it was prepaid and used it to make calls.</p> <p> </p> <p>two months later i get another bill for over R900 for cancellation charges. </p> <p> </p> <p>after numerous calls the cancellation charges were credited.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>what about the charges for calls that i did not make? its been a very long time</p>
