Charged for 7 months after cancelling in February

We relocated in January 2015 and immediately requested a line transfer. I knew that the previous tenant had an active Telkom line with ADSL. After some queries Telkom said that a line transfer could only be possible by end of April due to upgrades and port unavailability (the line at our previous house was already disconnected). We had absolutely NO Telkom service from the beginning of 2015!
I found a Neotel alternative and then cancelled the line tranfer request as well as my Telkom Account on 19-02-2015.
I noticed that my account was still being billed. I then again went to the Telkom store in Cape Gate on 08-03-2015 to confirm that my account is cancelled. The lady logged another dispute and then ensured me that my account would be canceled and that I would be refunded with the next invoice.
I assumed that this issue was resolved.
But Today I saw my credit report from TransUnion. It indicated that I did not pay my Telkom bill and shows that my account was only closed in August 2015!! This is absurd!
I request that my account be reversed from the cancellation request on 19-02-2015 and that I would be refunded from this date on. This should also be reflected on my credit report.
