Change of processes without informing the client

Hi, I have a voice contract through telkom mobile, I was recently ****** at gun point and my phone was taken. I called telkom to block the sim card. When I went home in limpopo I bought a sim card from PnP with the understanding of calling telkom to request a sim swap. When I called the telkom call centre I was told I have to go to a telkom shop to get this done. I was in Lebowakgomo and the closet telkom shop is 90 KM away from me. How is this going to be possible if I have to travel that far to get a sim swap. The lady at the call centre told me, there was nothing to be done. I must travel to get this done. I have two contracts with Telkom and if this is how the service will be rendered then I will have to rethink my stay. I will also take this issue with ICASA to find out if this is allowed. If you have to go to a telkom shop as part of the rule, those shops should be close to communities which uses this services. I was given this reference number ********** 2

Good day.
