Challenges with speaking to a real person

Been trying to get a proof of purchase for insurance purposes and have logged a few call backs, when I do get called, it’s either one of 3 things: 1. They don’t call back 2. When they do call back they only let it ring once before I even get a chance to answer or 3. When they call back there is just no one on the other end and they don’t bother calling back again. I don’t want to take insurance with Telkom but another provider, can someone please actually tell me how the hell I can get into contact with a real person??? The other issue is when I try to call them, that IVR is so difficult to get through to speak to someone. Not the best experience for customers.
