Cell Phone's display Cracked DURING repair !
My cell phone started giving me some problems 2 months ago. Part of the display wasn't responding, even though we couldn't see any damage on it.
It is a LG G3, bought last May.
I left it at the Telkom store at Fourways on the 21st Dec to be repaired. Assistant tried to reset it, as it could be a software problem. Phone was booked in, described as having \Good\" appearance.
Quotation on the 12th Jan (holiday period...) states the phone has a \"physical damage\", a \"cracked display\". And I am asked to pay R 2,010 to replace it.
I rejected the quotation, as I knew it wasn't cracked before (even though the repair centre explained that it could be, without it being noticeable to the human eye) and paid R 188.00 to have it back.
When I've got it back, on the 8th Feb, the display was totally cracked, like a 100 piece puzzle or a broken mirror!
I rejected the phone as it was NOT like that before - and the assistant remembered when I've left it there.
Now, I am still waiting for a solution! Customer service knows nothing about it. Store manager says it is a repair centre problem. And I'm paying for a service and a phone I cannot use for 2 months now! Amazing! Real poor service."
