Cell number disappeared

Dealing with Telkom this past 2 weeks has been the worst service delivery I have ever received. The stalwarts at the Somerset Mall branch managed to lose my wife's cell number during the past week by porting a new number onto a pre-existing sim. I most certainly did not ask for a new number. I asked for a pre-existing prepaid Telkom number (previously ported from MTN) to be ported onto a contract package I took out 3 months ago. The particular Individual that helped said it won't be an issue and it will take a week to sort out. Only to find out a week later that not only did the SIM in my wife's phone change numbers without us knowing but her original number just vanished smooth off Telkom's network. The effort and heartache my wife now has to go through is unforgivable. It is not easy to change cell numbers as there is A LOT of admin involved. I am deeply disgusted not only in the incompetence with which we were dealt with, but also with the attitude that came with it. I can go on and on about how bad it was. The bottom line is that you cannot destroy intellectual property that belongs to others the way as was done here.
