Cant get ADSL installed

I app**** for 20mbps Telkom ADSL line to my new premises, I'm told after 5 days that there are no ports to get services from Telkom, I have to wait for someone to cancel services then only I can get connected, basically this is a lifetime wait! no LTE, no Fiber nothing, only ADSL in my area and still I have to wait.
