Cant complain about service since there is none!

Where do i start? ok, the first issue i have...who gives Telkom the right to forward our private information onto a third party, Mobile Talk, and allow them to dupe their loyal customers into thinking that they are Telkom directly? In October we were contacted by a gentleman posing to be from Telkom as our contract was about to expire in November or due for an upgrade. Not once were we informed that they were not Telkom and they had all our information from current contract info to billing info so who would think otherwise? the new LTE device was delivered before the end of the month with further lies that we could connect our current wifi devise to this one and run them together. we were also informed that the new range on this device was 250m. For the month of November, if this machine worked with full connectivity for a total of 2 weeks, it was a LOT!!! secondly, more that 20m from the device and you got next to NO signal forcing us to constantly move the devise around from the study to the kitchen...i assure you, i dont live in a mansion. we thought maybe there was just a temporary signal problem so we left it. End of November comes and we are billed around triple the agreed upon amount. after enquiring we were told that there was a migration fee and some other miniscule cost but the point is that...WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT WE ACCEPTED THESE CHARGES or were even informed of it for that matter??? we have had Mobile Talk review the call and there is no mention of it. we never agreed to this. we requested that the money be credited. this is when all our problems compounded. half way into december the new device was still not working properly. After numerous calls to try fix the problem with no resolution and being bounced between Mobile Talk and Telkom because now we have two useless companies who like to blame the other party so its easy to shrug it off. Come last week of December we had had enough and told Mobile Talk to cancel the contract. they were very quick in arriving the next day to collect the device. End of December comes and we get debited again for a service we no longer have. we have spent numerous hours, and far too much airtime, which quite frankly i feel should be re-imbursed, we have numerous msgs on Telkoms behalf to say we are working on the problem. it has been escalated, and then escalated again. then we get told by Telkom that its still open because Mobile talk have not cancelled it on their side. we get hold of Mobile Talk and they confirm in writing that everything is cancelled on their side. Telkom"escalate again". My husband has been far too patient dealing with this issue but after all the problems we have had, the time for nicety it over. if this is not resolved before in the next few days we will get in contact with a lawyer to take this the legal route and go to the ombudsman if necessary. you people have had more than enough time to pull yourselves together and sort this out. then 01 February comes and low and behold...Telkom debit us again. we have had this amount reversed as it is not your money to take. you people now need to credit us with the unagreed apon migration fee as well as the amount taken for January.

Its not like we are asking a lot. all we want is to get this sorted out so we can get a new contract opened with the "real" telkom and go back to the happy customers of Telkom that we had been for the last 6 or so years until now. Although the thought of another telkom contract at the moment makes me see red so who knows.

Two of the many reference numbers my husband has received over the last two months is as follows -

********** 0

********** 1

The account is under his name, Russel Braum.
