Can't cancel my account

About four months ago I tried cancelling my account they charged me a R800 cancellation fee which I paid and I sent in a cancellation forum but their immediate cancellation department which would take 24 hours to call me has taken now 4 months and my credit record is getting very bad because I keep reversing R2000 that they keep trying to take from my account and I've got multiple cases open and all I get told is my problem is being escalated and nothing ever happens.
