Cant cancel accounts

I've trying to get Telkom to cancel my account for months now. I've used their chat service (cant cancel using that touch point - have to phone Sales), phoned the call center for Sales (cant cancel as you have to send an email to ********** and sent emails to cancellations (still waiting for promised phone call). At this point they are still sending me monthly bills which I continue to ignore and expect a fight when this reaches debt collection.

From what I can tell Telkom has removed any official way allowing customers to cancel their services as a strategy to keep them from moving to other service providers. While that may be effective its highly ********* and *******.

If anyone is looking at moving to Telkom Fiber or anything similar, avoid Telkom and look at other providers (AfriHost, Cybersmart, Vumatel come to mind).
