I recently moved to a new home. On 31 March 2015 I called the 10210 call centre to cancel my line, however a recorded message informed me that the call centre staff is on strike and I should visit one of the customer care shops. I went to the Centurion branch on 2 April 2015, filled in the form and they submitted it to escallations@telkom on my behalf.

On 24 May 2015 I noticed that they are still billing me for the line. I again phoned 10210, but was kept on hold for 25 minutes, so I went back to the branch and they resent the cancellation. The branch staff told me they cannot give me a ref no as only the cancelations dept can do that, however I should receive an SMS within 3 days with my ref number. It is now 4 days later and still no SMS.

I have paid for 6 weeks of service which I do not need (excluding the months notice). When will my line be canceled and when will I get my money back?
Best regards,
