Cancellation With immediate effect

Good day

I have been trying to cancel a online application with Telkom for a while, Last week Wednesday i have app**** for this application online thereafter a consultant had called me to confirm all details and i was advised it will be going through a credit process, Since then no contact has been made regarding the status of my application.

I have left numerous amounts of call me backs online as getting through to an agent to assist is a hassle , Till date no call me back has been received regarding the status. On Saturday morning i decided that i would go to the Telkom outlet based in Westgate shopping center near Game to seek assistance to inquire on the status i was then rudely told that they do not deal with online applications and cannot assist because it is not their department and there is nothing which they can do about it , I was told to contact the service number which i still could not get through.

This morning i had finally gotten hold of a consultant who said that it was a success and that the debit request has been sent through to the banks (No communication was made of this) , Therefore a debit would either take place today or tomorrow . I would rather prefer for the application to cancel as i was told that the cancellation can take place within 5-7 business working days after confirmation please advise accordingly on this and to ensure that no debit will take place.
