Cancellation was just ignored!

I had a Telkom Mobile modem with a sim card that expired in August 2016. In July 2016 I went into a branch to complete the cancellation forms. Customer care phoned me every week to ask me if I don't want to upgrade. Every time I told them no I have already completed the cancellation form, I don't want any upgrades and I don't want to continue with the service. The last call I received was on 7 September 2016.

About 2 months after that Telkom started to debit my bank account again with the amount for this sim card. I went into the branch to querie this and they promised to follow up. I went to my bank and reversed the amount. After that Telkom debitted my account every month for different amounts. Every time I went to my bank to reverse it. Not only does I get a bad credit record now it costs me R25 every single time I have to reverse it.

2 Ladies from Loch Logan branch in Bloemfontein now helped me to get this cancelled but they can't give me any documentation to give to my bank that its cancelled. I phoned customer care numerous times and I don't get a satisfying answer. The last all was on Wednesday and a Lindiwe told me that I still have an outstanding amount. I am not going to pay for this because I did my part in cancelling my account with them in time. It is not my fault that Telkom Mobile workers is ***********.

I want my cancellation letter immediately! And I'm not going to be held responsible for Telkom not doing what they are supposed to do!!!
