CANCELLATION PROCEDURE PATHETIC

Simple request: I want to cancel my landline and ADSL and keep my email adresses. Okay, the procedure is to email the cancellation form and your ID to cancellations, then once they decide to read your mail, they will call you to confirm that you really want to cancel services. If you miss the call, they don't try to get hold of you again. You must again email the request with the cancellation form and ID and again you must wait until they decide to call you.

I have sent my first email on the 10th February 2016 and clearly indicated that I want to keep my email adresses. On the 18th May 2016 I realized that I suddenly don't receive any emails. After hours on the phone with Telkom they told me that my account was deactivated. I need to pay an amount of R600 and then they will activate the account. After payment was made last Friday my emails are still inactive. Again hours on the line with Telkom - if I dial 10213 they confirm that my emails is active, if I dial 10210 technical support they tell my it is inactive.

They don't understand how critical this is. Both me and my husband use the telkomsa.net email adresses for business and now it is a nightmare!!
