Cancellation, dispute and refund but still continued billing

I emailed Telkom my signed cancellation document and ID to their cancellations email address as per their instructions on the website and document.

I followed it up with a call to their helpdesk to confirm that my documents were received. I was advised it was being processed.

At then received a bill which extended past the 30 days notice I was obliged to give Telkom. I then called their helpdesk and spend a frustrating hour on the phone with a lady who insisted that I was obliged to pay beyond the 30 day notice period if Telkom felt that was appropriate. I insisted she log a dispute requesting that I be refunded any charges beyond the termination date. The dispute was processed, awarded to me, and my account refunded. I settled the last few Rand due as per that account.

A month later I receive a fresh account, fully billed. This month I receive another one.

On the line with Telkom again and I'm then told that my cancellation was never processed because Telkom could not get ahold of me.

Telkom: I sent you a signed cancellation notice along with a copy of my ID requesting that my services be cancelled. I phoned your helpdesk to follow up ensuring that my services were cancelled. I called you again when you billed me beyond the cancellation date. I then logged a dispute. You awarded the dispute to me, and refunded my account.

AND STILL YOU TELL ME THAT MY SERVICE IS NOT CANCELLED? Because your *retentions* department called me once or twice *during office hours* and then gave up?

Fresh dispute logged. I honestly never want to do business with Telkom ever again. Be warned everyone out there, Telkom is as bad as the SABC.
