Cancellation

So I called Telkom customer care on the 1st of November 2017,i wanted to cancel my contract and was told i need to send through a cancellation letter via email to cancel my contract 30 days before expiry of my contract,so i did this,i then went into a store at the glen to ask if the cancellation had been done,customer aervice from the instore consultants was appalling,no ambition to help or assist me with my request instead hand me their phone and tell me to call customer care because they cannot check on the system themselves,so i walked out the store highly upset with the fact that no one was willing to help,so i called customer care today and was on the phone for an hour after being cut off after requesting to check my contract status and onky after about 40 minutes was the agent able to tell me that my contract is on a month to month and not cancelled,i asked to speak to the supervisor,and as usual excuses go the supervisor was unavailable,so agent said he will log a case,i was then put on hold for another 15 minutes waiting for this reference number for a case being logged for my query and then the phone call was cut,all i ask is that my contract be cancelled as i no longer want it,my contract expired on the 1st of december,i want this conyract to be cancelled before the end of the day.... And would i refer anyone to telkom,not a chance
