cancelation of upgrade

upgraded my contract and went back 2 days later to the Telkom store in cresta cancel the upgrade.which was a hasty decision.telkom refuses to cancel the upgrade and now I am subjected to a 24 month contract. Telkom can not force this on me. this is a total *******.
