Calling my mother a ****.... Corporate tactics? or not! I wonder...

I recently requested my Telkom account be cancelled, besides receiving over 20 text messages (of which i was happy to know they acknowledged my request) saying they have received my request in the space of 9 hours(lol), my mother was checking in on my house and answered my phone while i was at work, the person stated they are calling from Telkom and stated i am sharing my connection with other individuals(of which i can prove i am not), all my calls are recorded, when my mother stated that the call is being recorded, this person then went on a rant and swore and belittled my mother who is not even the account holder.

I work in a corporate environment and i truly hope this is not a tactic to intimidate clients via their elderly mothers. I have called Telkom to ask, and request information from, of which Telkom have refused to supply any details if a Representative or contractor or outsourced company and/or person from Telkom or on behalf of Telkom has contacted me via my landline or not. They have refused to confirm or deny if anyone has called my number today or from Telkom or in general called my number.

With every call from or/to Telkom or a Telkom line, there is a record. This makes me wonder and makes me concerned if the provider refused to release the information to the account holder.

I have been a loyal customer of Telkom for many happy years, and if, they are employing these corporate tactics on their customers, and persons that are elderly and account holders, in the attempt to intimidated and target the account holders, well. This is concerning.

I truly hope this is not the case,

I am sure that as Telkom(a communication company) would want to ensure/re-ensure their customer base or for that matter any corporate telecommunication company would want to confirm or find out who is behind this blatant disrespect of the elderly and a innocent woman, they would want to get to the bottom of who is calling on their behalf...

I would appreciate some closer, respectful closer on this matter.
