Call it *****

This was an email sent to the Ceo's office on 25 August

Good afternoon

I trust you are well.

I would like to bring a very bad experience to your attention and would like assistance if possible. I requested an agent to contact me as I was interested in a device. Someone eventually contacted me on 14 August and I was pleased. However, everything the agent promised never came to pass. He confirmed that once the sale was finalised, Telkom would deduct an amount of R99. To my surprise on 18 August, an amount of R499 was deducted from my account. I contacted the call centre and then found out that its a test debit that was done. I never agreed to it and had the transaction reversed. The other question I had was, if my number can be ported (day of sale) and the agent said yes. This was also not done. I again called the call centre, but they could unfortunately not do it. I am very disappointed with this service. I want to cancel my contract with immediate effect.

Please advice of the next steps, as its been almost 2 weeks now and still nothing had been done.

Your response and feedback would be highly appreciated.

*This morning I went to a Telkom branch as instructed by one of the call centre agents, to port my number to Telkom. They informed me that the agent that handled the sale, had to activate it for me. I no longer wish to deal with an agent that fooled me the first time around.
