Cable repair/replacement
<p>Three months to repair/replace an overhead telkom cable is just not good enough. Instead of looking at the mountains, I have two heavy overhead telkom cables obstructing my view. What purpose two cables has in the greater scheme of things heaven alone knows.</p>

I have been communicatng with Tobela from Telkom, thanking her for bothering to reply to my complaint,I really am apprciative of anyone trying to do their job.
Just a report back for those who may be interested: Today two wimwops in an unmarked backie saying that they represented Telkom pulled up without first bothering tophone me to make sure I would be at home. They had taken "The package" from Telkom sometime back but were asked to do the honours,probably at some outrageous hourly rate.
I walked one over to the offending double cable after he insisted in seeing the two cables drooping from post to post.He made an immidiate prognosis, saying that they needed to replace a faulty cable but first they needed to have a job card made out. Fair enough...on a lighter side, the ***eons are spoilt for choice with two cable from which to launch and land.
