A *****elent profile has been opened at Telkom using my identity number.

I went to the Kimberley outlet( Diamond Pavillion Mall) on 18/12/2023 trying to get a new contract only to find out that my id number already exists with someone else name.

Instead of staff rectifying the issue they rather opened a profile in a business profile using my name and identity number. This was done as they could not elaborate what was going on with the application as i spent almost 3 hours in the store,upon requesting cancellation of the application they concluded the process by opening a business profile instead of a personal/consumer profile.

I would like this matter to be given Urgent attention as my Identity has been compromised. I am totally unhappy about the service that I received, instead of them giving me information, I had to dig it out of them.
