By far the worst company

If I could give a 0 star I would. Sometimes you get someone on the line who wants to help. Most of the times you do not. All of our telkom lines, including our adsl line stopped working in November . After a hell of a struggle Telkom informed us that they will not be implementing new lines and that we are required to make alternative arrangements. End of January we got a bill for all of the line rentals as well as cancellation fees for the lines that they will not be replacing and we had to cancel. I laid a dispute. ***. I called again today to follow up. The lady was rude. She asked me more auhorization questions than usual. Then she told us the dispute was declined as telkom found that our main line was in use. I told her that it was not. The only call that went out from that number is forwarding that we arranged so that we do not miss calls from our patients. She became rude and said they will call the account holder to discuss this with him. I work for a surgeon. This is a business account. He will not be able to take that call. So if the same thing happens at an FNB , would they then need to speak to the owner of fnb? This is the worst service. We have been without line since November. Now we have 2 telkom bills for January and February which are ridiculously high. We are also being charged per call with the calls forwarding to our cellphone.

When I encounter a helpful telkom staff member I always give them a good review. the problem is that Telkom sees this as a reflection of their service as a whole and it is not. You need to implement a system where a customer deals with one agent when they call in throughout their entire dispute so that there is consistency and accountability.
