Business Line down for more than a week
On Wednesday the 7th February I logged a fault that our BUSINESS line is down. I have phoned every day since and get told there is a technician allocated, then I get told the allocated technician was removed from the case. Then on Monday I phone to find out what is going on. The lady says she will escalate the fault. All of a sudden we get a reference number sms'd to us. Call again on Tuesday and get told there is a technician allocated but they cannot give us time lines. Wednesday the technician phones and says our line is working fine. We have 2 lines, one is down one is working. He gives me the number of the working line. I tell him that is not the number I reported he must fix the other one. So he tells me the other line was not logged. I told him I have a reference number and he must fix it. About an hour later we get a sms to say the issue is resolved. IT IS NOT RESOLVED. HE FIXED THE WORKING LINE. Firstly, if they have a technician that fixes a working line, then I am not surprised there are so many lines down because clearly their technicians aren't very smart. Secondly why could he not just look at the other line when he was busy.
When I phone Telkom again after this, I get told the fault was only logged on Monday the 12th and because it has not been 5 days they cannot escalate it.
This is pathetic. It is a business line and we are loosing business because people think we have closed down because they cannot get hold of us.
