Business Crippled by Telkom’s Incompetence – Still No Help After 6 Months! 🚨

We are Budgetprint & Signage, a long-standing business based in Herm****. In January 2025, we app**** through Telkom Business for a new line at our Strand branch and to replace a faulty handset in Herm****.

Instead, Telkom:

Assigned the same 028 number to both branches, completely disrupting our operations

Left our Herm**** landline dead or briefly functional for only a few minutes at a time

Ignored multiple follow-ups over months

Failed to act even after escalation to ICASA

As a result, we’ve: ❌ Lost over 90% of trade ❌ Can’t receive customer or supplier calls ❌ Faced staff salary shortfalls and financial strain ❌ Suffered major business and reputational damage

We've now issued a legal letter of demand and are preparing to pursue a civil damages claim against Telkom. Their lack of accountability is shocking for a national provider.

Telkom is NOT a reliable service partner for small businesses. We urge others to beware — and for regulators to finally intervene.
